What made you choose your RH? What do you love about your RH? What attracted you the most to it for making it 'the one'? (For whoever is bored at work, like me, hahaha)

I absolutely love everything about Russo's! I love the atmosphere, the tons of food you get, the service, etc. It was just the perfect place for FH and I.

yes and did you here that already 300 brides have replied to the invite...I cant believe it will be that busy. I mean it is a beautiful place but wow 300 plus whoever they are bringing with them
I cant wait to try the food!
Veniese Hour will definitely be outside for me. Are you in the manor room? How are you going to introduce the Vienese Hour?

I really loved how we could have a Manhattan style feel, on Long Island, the decor is so very our style,
the food impressed my FIL:s ( who are food snobs ) and FFIL was even happy w/ the selection for their house wine!!.
they were so accomadating it was unbelievable!

We're in the room with the elevator and at first FH didn't want to come up through the floor, but now he kind of likes the idea, so we're most likely going to come up from the floor.

You HAVE to come up through the floor!! I know you may think it's 'cheezy' but to people who are not from the area, they will FLIP!!! We are coming out of the wall in the other room!

The windows, the view of the bay, the ceiling above the dance floor....
Before we starting looking my only requirements were that it be on the water and that the room had lots of windows.... and CLM has it all, for me anyway.

Veniese Hour will definitely be outside for me. Are you in the manor room? How are you going to introduce the Vienese Hour?
Well I want to have a little display of fireworks first outside. Hopefully all the guest will be outside then and then the VH display. I also want to include sparklers somewhere in there. There is a vendor that have pryrotechnics. And I think that will be a nice touch to finish the end of the night. Is that stupid? If it costs alot I wont do it, maybe instead I will add a cigar roller or something like that.

At first my RH had to be on the water and be a mansion. That was I was looking for . But alot of beautiful places such as the VYC and CLM etc are kinda far away from me because we are in Queens. My sis told me to go take a look at WM and I was like noooo because it has 2 weddings at a time, its not on the water, I didnt know it was a mansion, I have never been there. But I called and went and I FELL IN LOVEEEEEE so did my FH. Forget it being on the water it has fountains and rivers that is enough I need for water And its only 15 min away from me and I also like that its in a residential area. So sometimes you never know.

No I love the idea. What I have seen is that the bride eand groom form a conga line (KIND OF CHEESEY) and go outside (not at westbury manor)with the guests and then fireworks light up the cocktail hour along with sparklers near each food displpay. only thing is I dont know if WM allows fireworks.
Angelina Jolie was there a few months ago taping for a movie in the garden area! So maybe it will make it into the movie and not be cut out.

FH and I just went on Sunday to our hall the Fox Hollow to make a payment and meet with the house florist and on the way home I kept telling him 'I swear it's better than Disney World! Everyime I go there it feels like the happiest place on earth! ' and he entirely agreed!
I can't say enough about the Fox Hollow! We're also in the room that pictures were posted of before, with the glass cathedral ceilings. When we went on Sunday that room was set up for a cocktail hour and we walked in and it just took my breath away again!
It gives me chills just to think about the place! It's so romantic and cozy with the fireplaces everywhere and of course the amazing food, people and service!
God I wanna go back again!

the fact that sammy wasnt so car salesman like. when we were talkin to him he wasnt pushing things on us. his words were you do what and have whatever you want its your day im just here to write up the contract!!!!!!!!!

She was filming a movie at WM, WOWOW, that says something about WM right Yeah I saw the sparklers idea somewhere also around the VH tables, sounds cool. I will email my BM and ask her about the fireworks, I'll let you know, if you want to use the fireworks also
