EVERYTHING that's why I chose it. Almost everywhere else I went there was always that one 'itty bitty' detail that I wasn't happy with but at VYC there wasn't anything that I didn't love 100%.

At first my RH had to be on the water and be a mansion. That was I was looking for . But alot of beautiful places such as the VYC and CLM etc are kinda far away from me because we are in Queens. My sis told me to go take a look at WM and I was like noooo because it has 2 weddings at a time, its not on the water, I didnt know it was a mansion, I have never been there. But I called and went and I FELL IN LOVEEEEEE so did my FH. Forget it being on the water it has fountains and rivers that is enough I need for water And its only 15 min away from me and I also like that its in a residential area. So sometimes you never know.

thats what i thought also!! at first i wouldn't even look at halls that were not on the water, and then i saw the watermill and the looking was over,,,

i love EVERYTHING!!! i love that were the only wedding, the grounds its like a secret garden, the water fountians, the inside has a lobby that looks like a living room. i oculd keep going buti think i should stop ill post some pics

I chose Giorgio's. Not only are the people that work there so friendly and accomodating, but the room and the view from the balcony is wonderful and THE FOOD! I get 14 passed hors d'orves, 10 Chafing Dishes, 3 Carving Stations, a Sushi Station, Cheese, Fruit and Crudite Display, Italian Antipasta stations, 2 pasta stations, a 4 course sit down dinner, wedding cake, pastries on the table, martini bar, frozen drink bar AND THE WHOLE PLACE TO MYSELF FOR THE DAY!

I am sooo excited!

i loved milleridge the second i layed eyes on it.

i loved the fact that it is one wedding at a time..
the wood floors/ fireplace.

but the atrium sold me. It is a beautiful place for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour.

i wish we were having our ceremony there.. but for other reasons we will be sticking with a church.

Another Westbury Manor girl here. I LOVE that the place looks like someone's house (someone's REALLY REALLY big house), the fireplace that greets you when you first walk in, the mahogany walls, the french doors, the wonderful decorations.

Plus, i'm getting the Polo Lounge as one of my cocktail hour rooms, so I love that the boys will have a 'manly' room to hang out in.

How nice is the Polo Lounge, seriously the nicest, intimate, upscale restaurants I have seen within a venue. How did you get that to be part of your CH, that is cool. I would love for the guys to have a liitle time to themselves in there. I didnt even ask if the guests can go in there and oder drinks or hang out during the reception. I was soooooo close to booking The Woodlands. We got a good deal and all and its is beautiful there. But I just had to check out one more place and that last place just sold me. I dealt with Abby from the Woodlands, soooo nice. Good Luck

I'm pretty much maxing out the manor room and there were only two room available on that floor for cocktails (the conservatory and the library). I think they were using that other bigger room on the first floor for something else. So Mr. Scotto himself told my BM to give me the Polo Lounge otherwise we would be way too squished.

wow where to begin - well lets just say everyone can tell i am still happy with my choice bc i burst into tears every time i go back there for something!

i love how it is like all blocked off from the street and then when you turn in it is like WHAM! gorgeous. . . like a hidden little surprise!

and then when you walk into the lobby it hits you again - those two first impressions sold me!

i love all the indoor picture areas - important for me as a winter bride! the fireplaces everywhere! FH loves the pond with real fish!

and every time we went there - every single person was SMILING and wanted to help us! even when i call they sound so happy and are always helpful!

their new lounge is amazing too - i swear i would have my CH hour in there if it was big enough lol also love that i dont have to worry about hte 5 hour gap btw the church and CH!

Ha! I LOVED the Milleridge Atrium as well - it really sold me! But, sadly, it's the one room I never set foot in on the day of my wedding. I can't even believe it. It all went so fast and by the time I started weaving through cocktail hour the main lobby was so crowded that I didn't get more than a foot before running into someone else! But, I heard it was gorgeous. =)

That I get to make a 'grand entrance' into our ceremony (there is a bridge to walk over!) Also, that we are going to be the only people there...I can't wait!!

UGH I KNOW!!! The cocktail hour room is totally my fav!!! I love that there are vineyards AND orchards on the property and I LOVE the food!!! OMG so excited!!!!
