She totally lets me be myself. No woman ever let me do that. She accepts me warts and all. She's very honest too.. she won't placate me if I'm in the wrong.. but she'll be understanding and supportive always. That's what I love the most about her.
This will be one of my more mushy posts.. LOL

When I'm upset about something that he did (unintentially of course) instead of tuning me out and retreating, he listens to me and does his very best to make things better. He also can't WAIT to have kids - he's going to make a great dad .

There is so much I love about him! Although I wont lie and say I love everything, there are things I dont love (as he puts it, I am a very patient person) but I accept him as he is!
The things I love most is the way he tries to protect me. The way he looks at my neice and nephew (makes me dream about the day we become parents) and the way he makes me feel like a better me!

He's the smartest person I know ... seriously he is just so intelligent I'm in awe sometimes of all the things he knows - granted, most of it is useless knowledge for most people, but still - his brain is like a sponge!

I love his sense of humor, the way he protects and looks out for me, how he can make me feel like I can do whatever I set my mind to and the way that he interacts with our little nephew just makes me melt.

What I love most about my FH is that he is a truly generous and caring person. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. We also have so much in common with each other, its scary but really cool!

it is the absolutely littlest things he remembers and does for me, the list is endless... Every morning before he leaves for the firehouse for his shift (he gets up at 4:30am) he gets ready, showers and puts on his uniform and then makes sure he has an extra 30 mins. He comes back into the bedroom cuddles and holds me before he leaves. It is the BEST thing in the world

I thought this would be easy but there is so much. I think his patience is what I love most about him. He puts up with so much from me and never lets it phase him. I can be tough to get along with and he loves every bit of me. He just makes me so happy. He makes every day better.

He was no-nonsense from the very beginning--he called me at work at 10:30am the day after our first date to ask what I was doing that same evening. We went through some rough times recently because we are doing the long distance thing and whenever I called him in tears saying it was too hard and I coudln't do it anymore, he wouldn't let me give up. He's also the most fun I've ever had!

He's the first man I've ever been with that's truly respected me - 100%. He treats me like a queen in all the ways that matter -- not materialistically really, just by the little gestures. I often say that he's a throwback to the men of a different generation, he's mannerly and chivalrous and polite (figures he's not a native New Yorker! LOL)
He also doesn't have a mean bone in his body -- the type of guy who would give a complete stranger the shirt off his back. In so many ways he's definitely a better person than I am, and I learn so much from him each and every day. He's my best friend, lover, buddy, soulmate all wrapped into one. I honestly couldn't imagine life without him from the day I met him!
ETA: oh yeah, and he makes me laugh like noone else can .. until my stomach hurts practically!!
