I'm not a fan of them. I like the individual cakes, but they are soo expensive. When I think of the cupcake cakes, I think juvenile. Thats JMO. Sorry

i like it, it's a great idea. it's definitely something different from the traditional wedding cake.

I really like the ones in the picture!!!

They aren't really cupcakes... they are like lil individual cakes!!!

I think I would do it but I know it cost a lot more.

I don't like cupcake 'cakes' but i do like the ones in the picture...I would think it would be cute to get my own individual cake at my seat...cute! (just don't go with regular cupcakes.)

I think it's a really cute idea. My only fear would be that people are so used to the traditional slice of cake that they might not know what to do with them.

I think it is cute idea, it is something I am considering. If I was having a formal wedding, it would not be an option to me.

I LOVE the picture you linked us to! So cute. Check out my community folder, I have an album for cupcake wedding cakes. It's not my personal choice for a wedding cake but I think they are super cute. I feel that if they are done correctly they can be whatever you want, elegant, whimsical, formal - REMEMBER this is your wedding! Do whatever YOU want. In the end that is all that really matters!

I wasn't aware that they were called individual wedding cakes. I edited my post to reflect that. I do agree that cupcakes are juvenille.
