Wowzas! Jpsgirl they're awesome! Between you & all of the other crafty and multi-talented brides on this board, I have been inspired to do something crafty too...I just wish I had the skills to do something!! lol! Maybe I'll get a paint-by-number book just to get the 'itch' out...

I thought of something else you could add to the candles.
You could use a glitter spray to add a little sparkle to the candle. Maybe in a gold color. It would sparkle nicely against the mirror.

that is a good idea! Do you think that if the dried spray burns as the candle burns it would give off a smell or be toxic ??Really I think it's just the inside of the candle that burns down in pillars, right? That is an excellent idea, I'm going to try it tomorrow, thanks!!!

Yes, I think just the inside will burn and there should not be a smell.
