I'm ASKING for opinions so toally open to all honesty about this.

I am walking down the aisle on my own but FH will meet me halfway (where the pews separate). He'll move my veil and ...here's where I would like opinons...will be moving my engagement ring from my left hand to my right hand. Then we'll continue walking.

So - what do you think? Romantic, waste of time, too big of a prduction...

Ang....I would definitely have him meet you half way and move the blusher. I personally wouldn't do the ring thing. Like someone else said...it won't show and I think they will be like 'What is going on'. Do whatever you want though...YOUR DAY!!

Well I don't have either parent to walk me down the aisle so I was going to walk down on my own - no big deal although I did feel nervous about the idea. FH asked me if he could meet me halfway - the pews separate at one point with a walkway. As I enter he will step down from the alter and walk to that area - but on the side - not down the center aisle. Then we'll meet there and walk the rest together. He didn't want me to walk alone - he says that one of the benefits of getting married is that I'll never have to walk alone again - how awesome is he?!

Anyone else crying??????

Thanks everyone this was helpful. I get these ideas once in a while that I know are a little much but of course I can't help but entertain them. I think we'll definitely stick to lifting the veil and then walking down together.

You are absolutely right - most people won't know what's happening with the ring and it'll just take up time - people will be confused and I'd prefer to not do that.

I like the idea of him meeting you and lifting your veil, but I think transferring the ring seems a little odd. Maybe skip that part?

I don't have either parent to walk me down the aisle and FH is too lazy, I mean did not offer to meet me halfway! I think the veil lifting is good but the ring thing is too much of a production, over the top. JMO!
