Ok so we're planning a fall (nov.) wedding for either 07 or 08 if we can't find a hall we love by the end of the month:\
I want to start planning our engagment party... Is it ok to have a Summer E-Party(06) & Fall Wedding (hopefully 07)
The wedding will be all deep colors & candle light, blacktie
I'd like a warm e-party w/ cala lillies as Cp's (Fake one's from Ikea, do you think that's tacky?)
What are your opions please ladies...

You can have your e-party anytime you want. I got enagaged in dec. 2004 and had e-party in april 2005 and getting married in Sept. 2006. Its find for the call-liles from ikea. not tacky!!

I got engaged in december 2004, and my engagement party was april 22, 2005. we are getting married on June 30, 2007. So we had our e-party 2 years before our wedding. you can have your e-party anytime u want. good luck

as long as it's your engagement party and not your bridal shower, you can have it any time! it should be close to your engagement, not your wedding

You can have the eparty whenever. We had ours exactly 2 years before our wedding.
