a rehearsal dinner one week before the wedding? I think I may have to scheduke mine for one week before, I hope that's not too early.

not to worry you, but I know someone who did hers the week before (her wedding was on a friday, she had the rehearsal the friday before) and the day of the wedding everyone (especially the guys) completely forgot what they were supposed to be doing... everyone was laughing/giggling out of nerves and it was pretty unorganized. Could depend on the group though.

Maybe you could do you and FH and parents or something the week before and do a quick run-through the night before?

yeah, it would be nice if we could all do a quick run-through the night before.

that is why I am doing it the week of. Although, I would like to do it on a weekend.

Sorry to crash...We had ours 8 days before our wedding (we got married on June 28th and had our RD on Friday the 20th). It was for a variety of reasons. First off our RD had 60 people in it (32 in the bridal party) and it was the best night for everyone. Two of the guests were from about 3 hours away but they made it and it was great. We actually got to hang out and went out aftewards. There is nothing wrong with it at all. HTH
