What do you think - Channa Plaque - Please look at one more?

I'll be taking this down, since it's actually a shower gift for someone. I don't really know their decor, but I think these colors should work. ETA: This is the final one I would order (referring to pic #2 a bridal shower gift)

Do you think someone who has never heard of/seen Channa plaques before would like it, or be like 'WTH is this?'

ETA: What do you think of this as a christening gift?

Do you think I should leave off the overlay saying? I am going to order it with the child's middle name as well (referring to pic #1, a baptism gift)

Now I am thinking maybe the overlay font from the black one, but the colors of the top one?

I would go with the first one...I've never seen a Channa either but I would be excited if I would get one for a shower

She made me like 5of them. The first one is one I had her make as an amalgam of a few, but I thnk I might use the overlay font of the 2nd one.

You can display it at the wedding on your cake or sweetheart table and then you display it in your home.

Haha Channa is the name of the woman who makes these particular plaques. (www.my-sweet-memories.com) A lot of people use them on their cake tables, favor tables, escort card table, etc. and then hang it up in their home later on.

I love them! Especially the first one for the shower gift. For the christening gift, are the parents very religious? Obviously they are somewhat religious if they are having a christening, but I might put a different saying if they weren't super religious. What a great idea for a gift though!

FH also thinks without. They are not super religous.

Do you think that taking off the saying makes it kind of irrelevant as a baptism gift then?

I don't think so. It's a very nice gift, I'm sure they'll love it!
