I really liked the hotel after TWOTY and am thinking of blocking rooms off there. however its 13min (according to mapquest) from the hall. They do provide shuttles to and from the hotel so thats not an issue but do you think that is too much?

If they provide shuttles I don't think that is a long drive at all. My friend got married at the Swan Club and blocked rooms at a hotel on Stewart Ave...that was probably the same drive.

13 minutes isnt far at all, especially if they provide shuttles.

my MOH was a CLM bride and the hotel she used was great...I think it was a holiday inn and they had a shuttle, free breakfast and an amazing hm suite!!

i dont think its that far. our hall doesnt have many hotels nearby...ours is gonna be probably at least 15 minutes for the closest one. just go for it....guests can deal lol

as long as there's shuttles i don't think it should be a problem. I'd double check with the hotel in how many/how often they'd run for you.

i think the 20min mark is a good rule of thumb to follow.
