I had a target registry. It was okay. Not a lot of people bought stuff off of it though. I liked my BBB registry the best.

there was a post on here a couple months ago w/ a girl complaining about target because they gave her a hard time about returning stuff. I think the thread was called 'target' if you wanted to do a search.

AWFUL!!! It is impossible to return anything without a gift receipt!! I have 3 coffee machines, 2 microwaves 2 toaster ovens and about 60 can openers. They are not so good at removing things from the registry once they are purchased.

ive heard not so great things about them...people receiving double gifts and whatnot and then that hteir return policy stinks

We are registered there b/c we wanted to register for some unconventional fun things like a dartboard, camping equipment, games, etc. I'm a little concerned now reading about the problems with their return policy though! I hope my guests don't double buy.

I'm pretty sure they will let you exchange if you don't have a receipt. If you get doubles you can exchange it for something else on your registry.

i good friend of mine registered there and warned me not to bc she got a ton a duplicates--items that were not taken off the registry when they were purchased WITH REGISTRY CARDS--that they would not allow her to return.

You would think right? But no you can't return anything without a receipt. They won't give you credit or take the stuff back seeing as you did register there and bring them loads of business. THEY SUCK*!!

We originally had Target as one of our stores, but after hearing all the bad things about the return policy, we decided to register at BBB instead.

Wow that s*cks! I can't believe they wouldn't even let you exchange it...can you sell the machines on e-bay or re-gift?? The holiday season is coming up....

I originally wanted to set up a registry with them because I looove Target, but I heard from my sister's friend that she had a bad experience with it. Lots of items that never seemed to be available and she got a lot of duplicate items also.

Not so good. I think I got two gifts from my registry there. The box on one of them was all crushed and had MASKING TAPE around it. It was delivered that way. I loved my BBB and Crate & Barrel registry.
