license plate ????

New York State is instating a mandatory new license plate statewide called the “Empire Gold.” It will be required on all cars starting April of next year and will cost between 25-50 dollars for cars depending on the status of its registration.

Re: What do you think of the new....

I think its ugly but I dont really care.

. But they cancelled the mandatory reissuance of license plates. So when you renew you registration, you will not be required to the get the new plates at this time

Re: What do you think of the new....

They're trying to look like the old time vintage NY plates and I like it b/c it's nostalgic (for me anyway!)

But the fact that they're requiring people to pay to get new plates is another story...

Re: What do you think of the new....

We shouldnt have to pay more- DMV is the biggest money maker of NYstate. My car is white but I still dont think it matches very well- meh
