today i got a gift in the mail and it was a huge tiffany's box!!!!! it was beautiful candlesticks from a lady that came to my shower and gave me a gift there as well. they were invited to the wedding and rsvp'd yes. so is this another shower present or their wedding present to us?? the card said 'best wishes' i don't know this lady too well (my step-moms friend) should i wait for the wedding to see if she gives us an additional gift and then send her a thank you or should i send her a thank you now for the gift? HELP ME PLEASE!

I would send one now. I would thank her for the candlesticks and tell her you look forward to seeing her next month at your wedding!!

I would definately send a thank you now and I would assume that this is the wedding gift. Some people prefer to give gifts and send them to the house.

the only reason that I would wait until after the wedding is so that you can include a thank-you photo from the wedding.
But, maybe you could call her and say thanks?
