I found it this weekend at the Wedding Center in Commack, not sure if I would buy from them since I have heard some not so great experiences, but it was $128 with a $65 alterations cap.
Since the wedding is during the day in July, I thought it was fun, flowy and good for any body type dress. Plus my girls might be able to wear it again.
Any feedback, good or bad otherwise is much appreciated! It would not be this color, but the Plum shade if you can check out the swatches.

I like it and I would wear it if I were a size 2. The bubbled skirt might not look good on everyone, especially if they have some sort of a back.
I love the top of the dress. I think that would look nice on anyone!

I'm not the biggest fan of it but that's coming from a formal wedding mindset. If the design and flow match your wedding then I think it works.

Thanks ladies. I am not really going for a super formal look as it's a day wedding. I wanted something a little different than your typical BM dress. I think the picture is misleading because of the color and the way the model is posing, it seems more like a party dress. One of my BM's tried it on and with the right shoes and accessories I think it def would be really nice.
Still not sure, ughh this is by FAR my most stressful part of wedding planning. I just want everyone to be happy.

As a dress for a party, yes... but I don't see that being a bridesmaid dress. JMO!
I mean it is your wedding, so it is your choice, but I don't like the idea of short dresses to begin with for bridesmaids!

I think this dress is great for an informal day wedding... how did your BM feel about it?

I agree and the bubble bottom sometimes is not flattering. My cousin is tiny and she refuses to wear them because she thinks they make her look horrible...If she looks bad in them then I don't know who would look good! You never know though, I would have some of your girls try it on if you like it...see what you think!

I went with a short dress for my BM...Its in teal and not the color below but it is luminescent taffeta which makes it a little fancy! Plus I am doing a beachy theme (shells, starfish, blues, and what not so its perfect!) Plus, it really was flattering on alllll the girls! I even thought about getting one for me its so cute on!

I am a huge fan of the bubble bottoms but for some reason on this dress I don't love it. (Maybe it's because of the material). I would say if you love it have your bridesmaids try it on or if you have a similar body shape as your girls you could even go and try it on first.

I may consider wearing it to a wedding but not making it a bridesmaid dress, not everyone's figure may be suitable for the puff skirt. HTH

I agree with the others. It's nice, but casual and nothing exciting. On the other hand, your BMs may get lots of use out of it. And I'm all about buying dresses that can actually be worn again!
It also seems expensive for such a simple dress no???
