What do you think of this for a centerpiece bowl.....

I just bought a bunch of these & wondered how much do you think the flowers would cost to fill them?
this is the bowl (it's about 10' in diameter)

These are some ssamples of the flowers I like, roses, hydrangias, etc. Pastel & Bright pinks, purples, & blues.

Am I saving money by buying the vases???

I don't know how much it would cost to fill them or if you are saving money but just wanted to let you know that I think the bowl is very nice!!

I cant say if you are saving money or not without knowing what your other alternative was.

The bowls are beautiful but most florists use something that looks like metal but is plastic and they are very cheap. So if you compare it to that, you have probably not saved money. But of course you have a nice bowl that you can keep so that is something.

The amount of flowers to fill a real metal bowl should not be different than filling a plastic one.

The cost factor will depend on what flowers you use to fill it. Peonies (the ones in the last photo) are pretty expensive.

This is the style c-piece FH & I both liked best.

But wanted to see if we could use these bowls for less $$

I love the first bowl with flowers with the hydrangeeas,(spelling). They shouldnt be that much $ I think its beautiful! Try Patchogue floral for great prices. The last one with candles is nice too!! Probably more $

I do have a florist for my personal flowers, but I am looking for ideas for centerpieces.

J&R said the price is the same reguardless of flower choice. (but did not ask about what if I supply bowl)

My question was, am I saving money purchasing the bowl/vase, or should I return them and let the florist handle it?

Your guests will have a really nice centerpiece to take home with them if you keep the bowls (we are doing something similar with candelabras). Our florist told us about $35-$50 each depending upon how full we want them to look. I think it will make your wedding a little more memorable, certainly for the guests who take them home and use them in the future. They'll always remember where they got them.

ask the florist right out how much it would be if you provide the bowls and he fills them. I know one of the florist I went to said I could get the candle myself, it would be cheaper. then he can handle it, but you save the $
