What do you think of this for memorial candle

In Loving Memory of
Joseph *******
August 18, 1987~October 9, 2003

He left us quietly,
His thoughts unknown,
But left us a memory,
We are proud to own;
So treasure him Lord,
In Your garden of rest,
For when on earth,
He was one of the best.

I think the poem is enough. You dont wanna overdo it.
Im so sorry that you lost your brother at such a young age. Was he sick?

Thank you for your reply....No he died from a drug overdose....First time, he tried it and died....Teenagers are stupid.....He was the best though! Thanks

I am so sorry for your loss. How tragic. I think the poem is wonderful.

Personally, I would want to put My Little Brother, or something to that effect. JMO

The poem is perfect as it is...You should place his picture in a frame next to the cake with the poem...or you can place a picture of him in an empty seat where he would be sitting. That always makes people feel like they are with you on your special day. Good luck!
