Okay, now I've been thinking. UT OH! I see how some of you are naming your table after cities, parks etc... Well, I am a big flower fan! What do you think of having the tables named after flowers ex: Sunflower, Iris, Tulip, Rose etc. And each centerpiece on the table would coordinate with the table name. So all the centerpieces would be different flowers and different colors. Do you think it would look good or bad? Am I looking too into it? I just want to do something different and fun.
Each Table favor would coordinate with the table name also. I was thinking of doing seeds, flowerpot, and maybe silk flower.

Re: What do you think of this idea?
I love the idea.
Actually, we were going to do this. The place cards were going to be a single silk flower of the type the table was named after with the persons name on a slip of paper attached to the stem. The flowers would be in bud vases when people came in.
But it got to be too expensive and we decided to go the traditional route.

seems expensive since some flowers are more then others and some are fuller then others. Plus ya might get some cranky women who want another tables centerpieces better. lol!!
What will the bo-k's have??

I like the idea! But the others have raised some good concerns. But if you can pull it off I think it would be adorable!

I saw something like this recently, only with fruit. I think it's a great idea, but I think it could get pricey. I also like the uniformity of having the same centerpiece on every table, so I don't know how much I'd like all different centerpieces everywhere. Here's some pics using that idea, only with fruit:

Re: What do you think of this idea?
Wow, that was very nice, I like the fruit idea too, but I want high centerpieces. As far as the cost goes, My aunt is a florist, all she does is wedding flowers, so I am hoping she is going to work with me on prices. I am debating wether or not I like the idea, I am torn because I also like the uniformity look of all the arangements. Hey, you gave me an idea, maybe my 12 girls can each have a different bouquet of flowers, to match with the centerpieces. Now I am thinking too far into things. Wow, my brain needs to take a break! It is too early for this! Thanks for all of your opinions. They are appreciated! I still have plenty of time to think this over! And who knows if my FH would go for it.

I think you can still have a uniform look - keeping the centerpieces the same size, shape etc, with maybe the same greenery or filler flowers. You could try to stick with flowers in similar colors, or in just a few colors - I think its great.
