I did both at the same time. What in the freak was I thinking!!!
I can laugh now since it is over but I seriously thought I was going to explode from all the house stress. I had sleepless nights over it. So glad we have the house now. Now the wedding stuff seems like a breeze...haha.

Oh my- I totall agree!! I can't believe you ladies who did/are doing both at once- i am so impressed- i would have a breakdown!! I wish I was that organized!

For us, we found the house pretty easily. My dad also used all of his connections so we got the mortgage, house inspected, etc. within days.
Decorating a house is another story. I do feel like the wedding prepared me for it. I think the wedding was definitely harder. I am definitely more willing to compromise with the house. With the wedding, everything needed to be the best and perfect.

We also did both at the same time and I thought planning the wedding was more stressful/difficult..only because many people got involved/had opinions..Buying our home was a decision for only the two of us..
