I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on what they look for in bridal magazines and what they really could do without. Thanks.

Definitely more pictures of decorated reception halls, church, Color schemes, for BM and flowers, etc. favor ideas...

The only magazine that I have found helpful is Martha Stewart. But even then, I feel the ideas are geared for small affairs unless you have zillion people helping you to do all this intricate projects.

I have stopped buying them esp since I can look at this website or surf the net

I agree with all of you... but not only are the dresses crazy so is the hair and make up.. sometimes i feel liek I am looking at a Steve Madden ad

I agree with the other ladies - REAL weddings, with lots of great ideas for making a wedding beautiful on a reasonable budget.

And someone def. needs to tell the people who create the ads that they are not selling their dresses by making the models look rediculous.

I agree...totally less dresses...it seems like that's the first thing you pick...so enough of that and more things like cakes, flowers, different ideas for receptions. I feel like it takes forever to get through the dresses!

Less gowns. Gowns look nothing on people as they do in pictures anyway and most brides dont find theirs in a magazine.

More detail ideas (favors, invitations, cakes, themes, etc)

For example
Pros and Cons using Digital or Film
Negotiating Skills with Vendors
Real Hair Styles (instead of pictures of Medusa)

More picture of everyday people weddings, not people that are spending 100K. I would also like more pictures of hair styles, BK, centerpieces, stuff like that.

Less advertisements!!

Like everyone said already...if you are going to put a pic of a dress...then don't use the dresses with the see-through corset and sharp objects coming out of it. when they style the hairr on these models they should consider hair styles that look more sophistcated then looking like the model stuck a fork in an electric socket. I would like to see more hair styles, traditional weddings, mother of the bride dresses, makeup ideas, and time and money saving articles. target more of the population that make up more then half of readers...those who are on a budget...who want all of the sophistication of a $50,000 wedding, but can only afford $18,000 (it can be done!!!)
