I clicked on it by accident and I don't know what it means. Anyone?

When you view a post, right above where it says message.

If you are a logged in user and would like to be notified of all new replies to a particular topic, then click the 'Subscribe' button in order to have these updates emailed to you.

Not a bad question jann...I pressed it a couple of times and I didnt want to subscribe...I was just seeing what would happen...lol
