What flowers are you usinf for MOB & FMIL corsages?
My florist told me that cymbidium orchids are the most popular. What are you girls having?

Orchids are usually most popular. We are doing white rose corsages because I want them to match the dads who also have white rose boutonnieres. My bouquet has white roses in it so I wanted it to all go together.

We are doing different flowers from my bouquet - fall colored roses and gold calla lillies for an October wedding. I have seen a lot of people also do roses.

for my mom she had lavendar roses/orchids
for my MIL - white roses/orchids

Most likely roses, in a color to match my FMIL's dress, with wax flowers or hypericum berries. With all the hugging, I think that roses hold up the best in the wrist corsage.
She is coming with me to my florist's appointment, so I'll let her decide. If she wants orchids, she gets orchids.

Probably black magic roses and bells of ireland to match my bouquet and the bridal party bouquets and they will be small bouquets.

I am actually not doing corsages for my FMIL. She will be carrying one long calla lily wrapped in satin.

My mother and my FMIL really like gardenias. So, we are getting gardenias for their corsages.

We planned on having mango callalillies. My BMs are carrying them but I'm not sure now how that will look with MOB dress color.

Oh I never thought to ask my florist which to use... My Mom ironicly picked orchids but shes afraid because their fragile flowers and she thinks they'll get ruined by the middle of the day... I picked light pink roses for FMIL to go with her grey dress.

cymbidium orchids are bigger than dendrobium orchids, so we are doing cymbidiums for the grandmothers, and dendrobiums for the moms. i just liked the way the smaller flowers looked for my mom's corsage
ETA: since dendrobiums are smaller they also stay 'fresher' longer, my florist said

My mom will have a rose to match my bouquet and FMIL will have whatever flower FH has for his Bout. One florist I went to talk to suggessted this and I really liked the idea of my mom matching me and his mom matching him. BTW, Orchids are very resiliant, I had one put on a comb for my MOH's wedding and put it in my hair, It lasted all day even though I bumped it a bunch of times while I was changing. HTH
