What has your FH been doing?

Hey ladies. I am just wondering, since it's always us chatting what part in the wedding does your FH help out in. Or are you planning everything and he just says ok?

At first that was going on with Emmanuel but it's funny how he is putting his ideas in and I love it. I won't feel overwhelmed.

My FI has been with me every step of the planning process...I need him I am WAY TOO INDECISIVE

FH was very involved with the decision process...I did all the research & then we would visit the vendors together...Once we decided who we wanted, he did all the negiotiating...The only part he didn't help with was flowers & I didn't mind that

i am surprised how much fh is getting involved, he has his opinions and i am so happy that he lets me know how he feels about certain ideas i have. we swap ideas back and forth. and when it comes time to meet with vendors, hell help out with that too.

FH sooo wants to be involved...much more than i thought he would bebut i love it!

FH was involved with choosing the reception location - and that's pretty much it. Once we get closer, he'll want to get to know the DJ - but everything else is up to me and it's worked fine so far.

same with me. most vendors we've visited have been surprised at his presence, but he is very interested, which makes it fun for me too (even if we disagree) Yesterday he told me he wanted a full catholic mass, which I was leaning away from..but he wants it, so I'll do it.

Gotta love my boy!

He works at night when I do a lot of the planning and then we have his daughter on the weekends so its tough for him to be involved tho I know he'd like to be. Pretty much I go out and do the research then filter out the vendors, when I get it narrowed down he helps me decide on what we want to go with. He feels this is my day and just wants whatever's gonna make me happy!

yup...very similar situation. FI works in the city so it's hard for him to be able to attend appointments during the week and then on the weekends we have his daughter. He always asks about everything though and he even wants to help pick out things like invitation designs, centerpieces, etc...I think it's so cute and funny!! I am very indecisive too so I never make a decision about anything without talking to him first!!!

Well right now we are buying a home so FH is doing all of that and I am doing the wedding stuff. But he really helped me to put together the registry. He has his opinions here and there too.

My FI has been very involved. I've been doing all the research on-line, then when I decide which vendors to go see, he comes with me for his opinions and/or comments. He's been giving me great ideas for the little things, like our song. He chose what we should dance to. He loves planning with me. Scary but true. I really thought I'd be doing it alone. Boy was I wrong

All he wants to do is pick the band and hold the gun when we register. I keep telling him that it wont make his 'package' any bigger but you know how they have the cowboy fantasy. MEN!!!

The only thing FH is not involved in is the attire for me/bridal party/groomsmen/himself and the hair/makeup sort of things. He won't even pick out his own tux he said anything I want he will wear but he hates tuxes so thats my department. Other than that he's involved in everything else, and he's a great researcher - i tell him something I heard of or an idea i have and he researches and reports back to me . Teamwork

My FH only wanted to help with the DJ pick which is fine with me because I'm having so much fun with my mother ....and not to sound like a B**ch but I want to pick out what I like so its works for me this way

FH so far has involved himself in the Limo's (not booked yet) DJ, Chruch (making the phone calls) Hall and for now thats about it.

FI wants to be involved but he works in the city and I've been going to appointments after work since I work in LI.

Well does the expression 'GroomZilla' mean anything to you. He's more anal about this then I am, he's always trying to impress everyone and goes to far. But who am I to say anything.I told him he can plan everything and I'll just meet him at the alter.

He's been somewhat involved, but it's not a surprise since he has a lot of opinions about a lot of things. The surprising part is that he's letting me go with my top choices, even if he doesn't happen to agree. This is RARE!

I do most of the research (on here) and book all the appointments. He comes with me to all the vendors and helps in the decision process.
