Hey ladies. I am just wondering, since it's always us chatting what part in the wedding does your FH help out in. Or are you planning everything and he just says ok?
At first that was going on with Emmanuel but it's funny how he is putting his ideas in and I love it. I won't feel overwhelmed.

He has been with me every step of the way.. I had to put my foot down though when he wanted to go dress shopping with me.

He works at night when I do a lot of the planning and then we have his daughter on the weekends so its tough for him to be involved tho I know he'd like to be. Pretty much I go out and do the research then filter out the vendors, when I get it narrowed down he helps me decide on what we want to go with. He feels this is my day and just wants whatever's gonna make me happy!
That's exactly us. When we were picking halls he was with me. Now booking vendors I do the research and we talk about it. He always says ' WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY'. I don't mind it this way. It works better for us. We always talk about everything before the final decision.

My FH has been giving his opinion on things (Photographer, DJ, etc) and has come with me to visit all the vendors so far. But, he is still giving me the final say on everything since he wants me to have things the way I want them. I find it sweet of him. But he is soooo happy that he will have NOTHING to do with my dress shopping!!

i do the research for the vendors and we go to the appts together and he gives his input....he is most interested in the band-which he gave the ok to, the registering for items i know i will never use-but thats ok and with the food tasting...

I do most of the research on who we're looking to book, but FI has come with me to every appt and has put his input in on the decisions we've made. Now that the hall, dj, and photo/video are done the only other thing I can see him helping out with is the favors...he doesn't care about the dresses, flowers, limos really.

I do all the research and find the vendors, and then FH comes with me to see them and we decide together whether we liked the vendor or not. He definitely has input and opinions but sometimes if he knows I really like something he'll say 'whatever you want.'

It has mostly been my brainstorming and researching but he gets to hear all the gueling details as I am so anal about the little things. All and all he has said yes to pretty much all the ideas so far!

Fi has been with me on every appointment and has helped out with setting up appointments and has also made some of the choices so he has been a very big part of this wedding planning which I am glad cuz it takes some of the stress off of me

My FH has been involved with the planning every step of the way so far. He's actually more into it than I would've ever thought...and at times he's even more into it than I am. We have both become wedding fanatics...okay maybe I am a little bit more fanatical than he is :P LOL

Fh comes with me to every appointment. I was so proud of him when we went to the florist. He was very involved. He let me choose what I wanted, but by the time we met with the third florist, he was initiating the conversation, saying that we want 12 cps, half high, half low. It was very cute. He even remembered the names of roses that I forgot. I think he is really enjoying the wedding planning. He told me he read a wedding magazine while he was waiting at Supercuts. Aw!

HE HAS HELPED FOR THE MOST PART. SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE TELLING HIM TO GO FLY A KITE....BUT IM JUST BEING A BRIDESZILLA.LOL

He has been there as much as he can. We work totally different schedules at work so its been hard for him to be there for everything, but he does try his hardest.

I did the research, present him with the options, he picks two/three, then we finalize on one. He did all the Limo work, He's doing all the Video and Photography, and DJ stuff. He thinks (I repeat, THINKS) he's in charge of the clothes, but I'm attending the tux fittings b/c I don't want him showing up with a money green leather tux like he's been threatening.

my fh was in charge of choosing and booking the catering hall. i come on to this website and find info on the vendors and then i send it to him. next thing he is in charge of is booking the band, and after that is the photographer.
Basically i found out throughout this entire process that i dont like to do all of this planning and he is much better at it cuz he stays calm. i am a procrastinator and I dont find much of this very interesting (surprise) so that does not make for a very good planner. It ends up that a lot of the wedding stuff does not impress me much and everything is so overpriced and not even that nice so i end up giving up.
He is pretty good at all of this and we have pretty much the same taste so he gets to do everything. The only thing i will be doing is choosing my hair makeup and wedding dress!

FI has been with me to every appointment and every bridal expo! I research and we go together. He always says, 'it's my wedding, too! I want to enjoy it!' He's so cute and really helpful. I love doing this with him.

Funny you should ask!
In addition to putting a wedding together, we have also been looking for a house (which we just found and signed a contract last week!- after looking at about 50 houses!)
FH and I have this running joke that he was in charge of house finding and I'm in charge of the wedding. Mostly b/c he's better at knowing about the water heater and toilets in a house, I have no clue!
The wedding he thinks is really my day, so I find the vendors, make the appointments and he comes, we discuss, but unless he's really not happy, it's been my decision the whole way. Its funny b/c I don't know about you, but when you meet with the vendors- do they usually talk to you to you the whole time? Sometimes they forget he's there- LOL!
