i have heard of the anniversary dance.

what if you kind of do it differently - get all of the couples on the floor and have the DJ ask those who's wedding anniversary is ten months away, sit down. next anyone who is 6 months away, sit down... whittle down till it's your parent's with their wedding annivesary the next day... then it gives them a nice dance and the bo-k!

That's a cute idea! Are you going to give your mom the BoK? Maybe you could get an inexpensive veil at AC Moore for your mom to wear during their special dance, to kind of relive their 1st dance. HTH!!

I may do that too! Fh and I are getting married ON my parent's wedding anniversary We are also getting them a small cake

how about giving the bouquet to your mom?
at Christine's (rob-luvs-me) wedding, she didnt toss it. she gave it to her mom. then have your parents dance to their wedding song.
that would be very romantic IMO.

I think that's a great idea.
I wish my dad is still alive though
