Here's some background...FH and I have been trying to conceive for about a year and a half now. We were originally going to stop trying as the wedding came closer. But then we thought about it and said if it is meant to happen then it will and we will just have to postpone the wedding. So as of right now I am not preggo, and if I do I will only be like 4-1/2 months so no biggie.
I just wanted to see from the girls that are about 7-9 months away from their wedding, what would you do if you found out you were pregnant?

Re: What if...
I would continue on with the wedding. My MOH got married when she was about 7 or 8 months preggo and she regretted it. She still had a blast and enjoyed her day.

Why'd she regret it?

Re: What if...
I'd still have the wedding. Having just had a baby a few months ago, I know that physically, I wouldn't be able to handle all the running around but hopefully I'd have help.

Re: What if...
FH would probably kill me for telling you this, FSIL might find this story interesting....
Around the 9 mos. mark we had a scare. (Figures, right?) Well I freaked out about it, but FH remained calm, cool, and collected. When we found out definitively that it was a negative, FH confessed to being a little disappointed. I asked him what we could've possibly done about the wedding and he said he would've made his brother get married next year (Currently he's getting married in 2011) at our hall, we'd take his spot in 2011 and we'd have the cutest damn flower girl or ring bearer anyone ever saw. I cried my eyes out. LOL!

I had a scare right before we got engaged... i was 3 days late and, im never late... and it turned out we were both a little bit bumbed about it... i think thats why we opted for such a short engagement.... were both ready for that part of our lives... so it would **** to loose deposits and whatnot... but id be happy to be having a baby

Re: What if...
IMHO, I would be very disappointed. I would like to be married 1st, then have little chickadees. I would cancel the wedding and just go to city hall.

Haha thank you! I'm right there with you. I just wouldn't be able to enjoy myself the way I'd want to if I was pregnant. I wouldn't feel as confident. I'd be afraid people would be judging. Not that they wouldn't if I was toting my 1 year old down the aisle with me (at least some of my family LOL!). But it's still different.

Re: What if...
I think about this alot actually Not that we are trying, but we also aren't always...hmm..'responsible' . Every so often I think about what I'd do. I would definitely still have the wedding. I just reallllllllyyyy hope that if it did happen, I would be mid-pregnancy and not full-blown ready to pop. That might ruin my mood a little
