What is everyone doing for place cards holders?

I thought about maybe doing little hearts because my theme is hearts but I'm not sure.

I am having a champage theme wedding so I am using little champage buckets (really little). I am going to the pet store and buying clear fish tank gravel to put in the buckets so it looks like it's filled with ice.

I was at a wedding last weekend and they had little hearts (brushed silver) as place card holders. There were really cute and elegant.

There is a bride that did the same thing and it looked great! Go on the theme wedding board and look at the candle theme thread. There are great pics of her votives.

I was thinking of the votives also. I would like them to be lit when the guests take them but I'm afraid they will be too hot to hold.

This is not my theme but this is what we have decided to do...FH is a Vol Fireman.

i havent decided.....I can do so many kinds of themes.....my RH is on the water so i was thinking of a beach theme...but i love pink and momograms so i think I might do a cross between pink and monogram....

for the beach theme...i wanted those white beach chairs as our place card holder!!!

still not sure!!!

I noticed those were lit in the last pic, is that what people usualy do or do they light them at the table??
