My friend at work is also giving up chocolate. I think you guys should have picked something else.....chocolate is the fifth major food group they never talk about!

I wanted to give up sweets..but, then changed my mind because there are a few peoples birthday in my family that comes around before lent...& I know, I would be tempted to eat a piece of cake.....so, I just decided on soda......

I was considering chocolate or coffee but I just couldnt do it. I am not brave enough to do that.
FI even said to me I couldnt go one day without a cup of coffee and to go till Easter would just never happen. I'd be a *****!!

i gave up Doritos (they are my FAVORITE) i miss them already
The thing I thought would be the hardest for me was 'un-neccesary shopping' , like me stops at CVS for no apparent reason and end up spending $50....I failed already, went to register at Target, bought a new throw blanket for the couch that was certaintly not needed...see I knew it would be hard...

I gave up soda. I'm adicted to Diet Sprite and have been going through withdrawal without it. But I'm hoping that I'll see a difference in 40 days after not drinkng the stuff.

Actually, FH and I wanted to give up sex for Lent and just carry it through until the wedding, but we lost our battle yesterday. Maybe we will try again and see how long we can go without

I do the exact same thing!!! I pisses my fiance off. I thought i was the only one!! I am giving up cake and cookies. If I can give it up until April, then I will give up for good, until after my wedding that is!!
