what is everyone having thrown at them?

and are you doing it when you leave the church or when you leave the ceremony?

do we have to do this at all?

We had rose petals and we had them in rose petal cones... they made for beautiful pictures...

some people do bubbles, ribbon wands, bird seed...doves, butterflies

Do you have to do it? No...

i was going to do fall leaves, but changed my mind. i'm going with eco-fetti... eco-friendly confetti. ours is an outdoor wedding so, right as we walk back up the aisle

My florist provided the rose petals from their store. My wedding coordinator filled each of the 37 or 40 petal cone holders and then with the extras, she said guests came up and grabbed handfuls to throw at us as we walked out.

Don't apologize - I'm HTH! DH and I walked up the aisle, did the receiving line, then actually got pulled back into the Church for about 15 min worth of photos, then we waited for all the guests to go outside with their petal cone holders and rose petals, then our photog told everyone to get ready, then we walked out and he started taking photos as the rose petals were thrown.

We are also having rose petals thrown at us after the Chruch (we are getting silk ones).

I think I want to do silk...I'm terrible allergic to flowers and real ones can end in disaster. Did you have to ask your church if the silks were okay?

we only accepted platinum credit cards or $100 bills.
