What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

I am on the fence. I think it is very original but I am worried that it will be an eyesore that day.

Re: What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

where are you getting it done?
If its from a reputable place like original runners.com, i think it will be beautiful. Wherever you order it from, find out if they have something that keeps it in place!

Re: What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

Maybe I am in the minority here, but even if they are beautiful it just seems like one more thing to remember the day of the wedding. I am happy just having the limo guy take care of it.

Re: What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

I think they're beautiful, but I personally feel they're a waste of money. I don't mean to offend anyone, I just feel like it's a lot of money for something you're going to walk on. And I'm not sure what you would do with it after the wedding. JMHO

Re: What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

If your ceremony is in an elaborately decorated church or venue, i think the aisle runner makes less of an impact so may not be worth it.

But if you are in a more sparsely decorated room , the aisle runners really stand out.

Either way, they make some beautiful ones.

Re: What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

I agree with stef defintiely!

Also, not everyone will see the runner, is the thing. If you're in a church with a main entrance where people will se the runner as they walk in, then you'll see it, but most likely it'll get lost anyway b/c a big churhc will likely be elegant. At rception halls and smaller places, people ofte come in on the sides and just go fin their seats and only the people enar teh runner will actually even be able to see it. It depends on the space..it IS a lot of money.

Re: What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

I think they are pretty but it's not something I would spend money on (any amount) unless the floors were absolutely horrible looking.

The runner generally goes down just before the processional; after that, no one is paying attention to it.

Re: What is everyones opinion of the monogrammed aisle runners

I think they are beautiful too but I have to agree that I think it's a waste of money. They almost forgot to put down my aisle runner and have a my guests didn't know I had one.
