Well, I have to admit that sometimes I do. Right now my personal life has taken first place. I still audition but, I am not auditioning for things out of town. This leaves me with B'Way and Off B'Way( not complaining) but, the economy has not been kind to B'Way in the past few years. Producers are not as willing to cast unknowns. I know people that went from one B'way show to another for years that are now unemployed. This leaves those of us without B'way show credits at a huge disadvantage. I hope that in th enext couple of years the tide will turn. I hope that producers will realize that just because you are on TV or make records does not mean that you are good live. That they will realize that people like to feel like they have discovered the 'next big star' and will pay to see them in a show. But most of all, I hope that I will continue to have the joy of performing and that I will continue to strive for my dream.

Dh's career. The military move us too much, I can barely find work at all.
In our first year of marriage we moved from LI to Florida and Florida to Texas and now we are getting ready to move to Arkansas for 5 months and then move again.

Part of what holds me back from pursuing another (corporate) field like Graphic Design is the fear of starting at the bottom. I have been working for 7 years, and have no desire to be an assistant anything again! Its hard, as I think of having to start from scratch and make no money, work long hours, and I lose my nerve to start again.

Well, my dream job? A photographer for National Geographic!!

I've never even taken a photography course! he he.

We are both working on our educations so that we can get the kind of jobs we want though. We're both heading back to grad school, so in 5 years we'll both be in a better place.

It's kind of scary though b/c DH makes a lot of money, and he wants to move into Economic or Urban Policy (not a lot of money in policy). But, I support him. I've spent most of my time working for charities so how can I complain!

well- firstly this crappy economy- there are really no jobs out there right now- gotta love the 'jobless recovery'.. I haven't had a raise in TWO YEARS...

But we are saving right now and I'll open up my own store- but that won't be for a while.

Education
Which equals Time and money.

I'd have to quit my job and start school from stratch which is about a 10 year adventure, which of course costs money and lets not forget the other bills I already or will have during that time.

My dream job requires me to further my education and unfortunately I did not ever have the finances for school and was unable to get finacial aid because my parents made TO MUCH? SOOO with that I stay content, I try to make my life happy here !It is what you make it so maybe I will never be a Interior designer, or Fahion guru but I will be happily employed .

I am not exactly sure what my dream job is but loss of financial security and guts is what is keeping me from active pursuing anything else. I need to work on both.
