Physical: 'You look like Ashley Judd.' And 'You are my fantasy girl.' (wasn't FH LMAO!)

And people tell me how outgoing and friendly I am all the time. That is, when I'm not boring them to death with my conservative views.

the first time i met my FMIL she said - 'you have made my son into a man' (and it wasn't a sexual thing, so get your minds out of the gutter ladies!!!!)

LMAO~ someone at the gym said I had nice boobs asked me who did them I got a kick out of that since I am pushing 40. Glad to know gravity is still in my favor

One of the nicest compliments just came today in an e-mail from my old college roomie. She told me I was the closest she has ever had to sister and I helped make her college experience great. She still tells me I am her favorite roomie (shh, don't tell her DH )

Besides physical ones, my favorite were the ones from people saying I am the best friend someone could ask for, things like that.

Also when I was told how proud people were of John & I that we paid for the wedding 100% on our own! And did such a beautiful job.
That felt great!!!!

Once at a bar, I got an award from a guy. He drew a crown on a napkin and made little scrolls on the sides and signed it and it said some thing like, 'The Best Posture Award' It was such a silly, weird compliment. It had his email address on it.

The girl in the place where I go to get breakfast sometime, said to me, you are always happy and smiling. I think that made me feel so good,b/c that means I am leaving a positive impact on others.

A few of my friends consider me the 'one who will always be there.' I think that's my fav compliment because I tend to go out of my way for my friends so its good to know they notice!

I was in Lace Silhouettes in Port Jefferson with my FI and there were these three girls who were all excited. Turns out, when I was in the dressing room, they were asking my FI if I wouldn't mind giving them an autograph.

THey thought I was Hunter Tylo from some soap opera!

The best compliment I have ever got was from a priest during my confirmation....We were walking up to get blessed and I was looking down at my shoes because I had alot of acne as a teenager and hated my face...and the priest lifted my head and said you have the most beautiful eyes make sure everyone sees them. Remembering that still makes me feel good : ).

My answer- hmmmm.
I tend to bring things when I go to a party where there will be children. @ a few birthday parties of my niece's and @ a 4th of July party, Ive brought pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, crayons, coloring books, fun straws, candy, and lots of -give-a-way stuff for kids of all ages. I have always had a thing that I have to buy things like that, I ALWAYS have a big secret stash in a plastic box in my spare room (since WAY before my son was even born).

So a few months ago, I brought 'Goodies' for all the kids at my niece's birthday party, and sure enough my sister had forgotten 'something for the kids'. So for that party, my aunt was telling my mom how much her grandson had enjoyed the toys he got at the party, and what a good job my sister did throwing the party. and my mom said ' Well we have to give Anna credit, she bought all that stuff for the kids, she always does' and my aunt said something like 'Oh ANNA ? Figures, she is SOMETHING ELSE, I have NEVER seen someone with such a big heart, and so giving especially towards children'
I got choked up when my sister told me she said that. because it's something I do out of my own free will and didnt think anything of it. and then my sister, mom and aunt just said this and made me feel so good...

oh, and the LONGGGGGG TEARRR-JERKKERRR sappy speech my sis gave at my wedding, had me bawling... we have a relationship where we both admire and look up to the other and when someone says who the better one 'We point to the other one' . She mentioned that in her speech, that she'd point to me... I always thought that was special..

When I was separated with my husband two years back, I met some random friend of a friend at a party. He was separated from his wife then too. When I left the party, he approached my friend and said 'I can't believe the night I had. I was feeling so down and all of a sudden your friend walked in and totally captivated me. She took my breath away'... Ahhhh, I felt like Queen you know what at that point. I don't think my feet touched the ground for days. Too bad he worked things out with his wife and me with my STBX. I wonder what could have been???
