What is the best size heel to match comfort with style?
FI is 1 foot taller but I want to be able to dance all night. What do you think? Three inches? Too much. I hate heels -- wearing kittens is a big deal to me.

did you hear about getting collogen implants in the balls of your feet? i have no clue how much it costs... but it give your feet built in padding (i think it lasts a few weeks)...
otherwise, im all about wedding flip flops... even for my February wedding

I'm 5'0' and FH is 6'0' ... I bought shoes that were comfortable, period ... no matter how many inches you get for heels, it'll never be enough and you'll end up teetering all night.
I think my heels are 2-1/2 inches maybe. I totally bought on comfort though, not height

I'm thinking the same thing, but I have the opp problem, FI is only like 2 inches taller than me, and I am a major heel girl, I always where 2.5 and higher heels, I love them, and I'm tall as it is...so I don't want to be taller than him in the pictures...so I dont' want a really high heel, but I want a sexy heel that is comfy

I'm a very big heel person (at 4'11 I guess you learn to be!), so I'm looking for something in the 2 1/2 -3 inch range. The company that makes the dance shoes I wear has been rumored to have a wedding line as well. Haven't seen them yet, but am going to check it out. The 3 inch dance heels that I wear are amazingly comfortable, so if this guy makes similar wedding shoes, sign me up!!!

I guess I'm the wrong one to respond...I'm going w/ 3.5' heels because I LOVE the height and the shoes I got are actually comfortable despite the height.
Why not go w/ 2.5'?

Well, I rarely wear heels so I figure I will break them in for the wedding regardless. It is just when we take photos we look so remarkably small and tall next to each other, you know?

I'm pretty much in the same boat. My FI is 8-9 inches taller than me so I want something that is a bit high. I usually wear high anyway but since I am going to be on my feet all day at the wedding I want something comfortable. I bought shoes with a 3 inch heel and I am going to put a bit of padding on the pad of the shoe. I am also going to get flip flops with a similar height to change into incase my feet start to hurt.

I have an opposite problem. I like heels, but FH is the same height as me. As soon as I put shoes on, I am taller. Shoes are going to be a problem for me too!

I hate heels-- and I am tall so I don't feel so much pressure to wear them- besides looking like a grown up. I am 5' 7'.. FH is 6' 3' however.. Generally, when I buy shoes- I draw the line at 2 inches. Anything more and my ankles freakin' kill.

I am not much of a heel person either, I would definitely go for comfort since you will be in them all day.

Well one idea I saw someone right about (not sure who to give the credit to, sorry) was getting two pair. One for ceremony and pix, and a second for the party.

I have the same issue with being almost as tall as FI...I found a great pair of vera wangs with a 1 1/2 ' skinny heel. I got them in black for a friends wedding, but I'm considering getting them in white for my wedding.

I'm doing the same I think... 2 inch heels for the ceremony/first dances...
then it's flip flop city baby!
