What is the best size heel to match comfort with style?

FI is 1 foot taller but I want to be able to dance all night. What do you think? Three inches? Too much. I hate heels -- wearing kittens is a big deal to me.

it depends on YOU - if you hate heels and can barely walk in them ........wear the smallest heel possible ! No one is going to see your shoes !!
I'm used to wearing 3-31/4 inch heels all day every day .......so anything smaller and i'm tripping over my feet !!
But esp if you don't normally wear heels, don't torture yourself that day !!
Go for comfort !!
Just be careful w/ flip flops - i've seen more than one bride/BM trip and fall b/c their gown gets caught in the shoe !

Well, I rarely wear heels so I figure I will break them in for the wedding regardless. It is just when we take photos we look so remarkably small and tall next to each other, you know?

Yes! Me too! Kittens are my staple.

FH is one foot, one inch taller. My neck starts to hurt alot when we do alot of slow dancing. I will be on a quest to find 2.5 inch heels that are comfortable for the wedding day - I really don't want to look like a complete midget in the wedding photos.

did you hear about getting collogen implants in the balls of your feet? i have no clue how much it costs... but it give your feet built in padding (i think it lasts a few weeks)...

otherwise, im all about wedding flip flops... even for my February wedding

i think another poster mentioned dance shoes...i've seen a few pairs that would make good wedding shoes on the website below, and they look REALLY comfortable. check under the catalog link...there is a section of 'wedding' white satin shoes. i also saw a little mention able an insert many stars wear in US magazine but i can't recall the name.

I kid you not ladies i saw it on some E! entertainment special about the rich people in hollywood, and their 'preparation' for special parties (i.e going on their lunch break to get some collogen in their lips and feet) Craziness

FI and I are both 6' so I am hoping for the smallest heel I can find. Did I mention I plan on finding lifts for his shoes so I can wear a little heel? But I am all about comfort, comfort, comfort! I will most likely kick the shoes off once I am dancing the night away.
