What is THE MOST ORIGNAL IDEA you have had for YOUR WEDDING?


For example mine would be having a untiy candle ceremony in which everyone in the church lights candles from the back of the room to the altar and then my mom and FH's mom light our individual taper candles. Then of course we'll light the unity candle together! I love it because it's a way to get everyone involved in our wedding ceremony!

We're having a birthday cake also- our wedding day is also our flower girl's birthday and also several of our guests.

Not original, but we I'm thinking of surprising FH with a cigar roller for the last few hours of our wedding and having personalized bands on the cigars

Though I did get the Tiffany blue idea from Toni Braxton's wedding, I've done my own spin on it and will be using it as an accent color to the pink flowers & other pink/white decor. I'm having all of the boxes related to the wedding in robin's egg blue, including our card box--it'll look like a huge Tiffany's box with a white satin ribbon and a little slot for cards at the top. The favor boxes will be Tiffany's blue as well. The bathroom baskets will actually look like boxes and our OOT guest 'bags' will be boxes too.

awww girls these ideas are so great! ok, so me & Michael are dancing to a fast song as our first dance instead of a slow song. I think its kinda neat and different and we are inviting all our guests to share the dance with us. Using mini pumpkins as our seating cards. And, putting our parents wedding pics on display on the piano in the cocktail hour room.


So far that's all.....but I'm looking for more unique ideas!

What song are you dancing to? FH & I are doing afast song too and are taking dance lessons ...

not much originality, except its in vegas.. but thats not original.. only on this board it is.... it will def be the kitchiest of the group!

Giorgios has a cigar parlor- so we're doing the rolling thing also! It'll be something for the male guests to enjoy!
