What is up with patken...e-shots???

I am so disappointed!

They only do them on mon, tues or wed?

Dont' they know people work???

That is odd..I cant remember what we were told, but it was something similar..something not convenient..my fiance would have to take the day off of work to get this picture done..and its hard to take off when we have a wedding to pay for! I was told that if there isnt a wedidng that day, SOMETIMES they will do weekend shots.

they don't do evenings? Because its impossible for me to take any time off of work.

They might but for me I work mon - thur until 9pm.

They did not even ask who my photgrapher was, the lady just said, no we don't do saturdays.

No offer if there is no wedding, etc. WOW, my photographer must be great, that he is booked every friday and saturday?

I am not happy because this is my most expensive vendor and they can't make a more convenient schedule for people. That's not cool at all!

my job is not that easy to just take off. I need to find sub coverage for my shift. Plus I have taked off to see FH when he was away, and still have days to take off for e-party and when family is in town.

How do I speak with doug. A lady answered and said they're not done. I hate comeing off as assertive and them hate me before my wedding even happends.

Call and ask for Doug, he has always been wonderful to me.

I honestly don't think I posted anything bad, i did not bash anyone, just don't understand how they can say, no they are not done, not even say, maybe we can find a date that will work for you and the photographer.

FH and I had a 7:00pm appt with them on a Monday and I left work an hour early to get ready.

If you can't get off work early or take a day off, I would do what Jennbaby said and call the owner. I'm sure they can work something out with you. They are VERY nice people and seem very accomodating. They want you to be happy - speak to the photographer NOT the receptionist.

I didnt mean you posted anything bad, what I mean is call them first instead of venting on here.

I never vent about my vendors unless they did me wrong and didnt want to help me

I posted about ONE vendor that made me ****ed once and thats good for me
I am sure Doug will want to help you.

I guess that is my only option, to talk to Doug. I just really hate, being the 'problem person'. But I guess since I got the impression their is no other option (from the lady) then I have no choice.

I was not doing it to vent, but to see if others had a similar problem. Wen a company gives me an answer, than I take it as is. If there are other alternatives, then they should say, let me see what the owner says about oteher options.

It makes sense that they can't do weekends, since that's when most weddings take place. Maybe they can do early Sat or Sunday morning? I hope you can work it out with them.

ps. I think it's ok to vent a frustration here, I don't think Jenny was bashing patken.

I too can understand difficulty with weekends, but I am pretty sure that has to be 1 that my photographer is available. It's only takes like an hour.

From the store they said they don't do them.

Like I said before you shuold not have to call the owner to get rules bent. That's making me feel assured that I will get service in the future without a hassel. I am paying them, and this is apart of the contract, nothing about mon, tues, wed. If she had simply said, I will ask what can be done. I would have been happier and at ease.

I did not post to vent, or bash, I posted so I can see if others had the same problem. I know they read this too, so maybe they can understand that somepeople schedules are tight.

I love their work and I have yet to meet my photographer, but since most of you know how much photography costs, I am sure you can see why I am so upset that I am having difficulty with getting an appointment. [I don't enjoy working 2 jobs until 9pm everynight, but gotta save money.]

Thanks and from waht everyone says Doug is great, so i will give him a call as soon as I get a chance.
