What is your favor? AND what is the best favor you have gotten from a wedding?
Aside from a donation.
My Favor: I am doing the photobooth with frames and I am going to do this glass bottle stopper. Do you think people will like this stopper??

Our wedding favor is bottles of wine. The best favor I've ever received were beautiful(expensive) porcelain serving trays from my dad's bosses daughters wedding. They looked like they were $50 each!!

our favor is a bottle of real vermont maple syrup in a glass bottle in the shape of a maple leaf.
probably my favorite favor is a bottle of wine thats always nice

our favor is a jar of truffles from afresh approach!
i usually don't like the favors that i've gotten from past weddings but my fave is a tin of lose tea which was chocolate mint - it was spectacular!

Great favors!
Our favor is a stemless wine glass with our our names, dates and the Eiffel Tower. We got engaged in front of the Eiffel Tower and it's going to be a Parisian-inspired wedding.

How much do the jar of truffles run?? Thats cute!! I thought about something edible, but we are doing Viannese hour with take out boxes... so I felt like there was already so much dessert stuff... but I still like the idea!!

We are doing chocolate covered oreo's. I had them at a friends wedding and they were so yummy!

We are doing a donation favor.
In all honestly (no offense to anyone!) but half the time I never even take the favor at a wedding, and when I do it is usually something that gets put in a drawer and never used again.

In all honestly (no offense to anyone!) but half the time I never even take the favor at a wedding, and when I do it is usually something that gets put in a drawer and never used again.
The donation is nice. I do quite a few donations through the year though. I would like to give my guests something to look at and remember our day. I disagree about never using favors... I have gotten a few favors I love! Ice cream scooper, ice bucket, godiva chocolate, jar of honey.. and others which I have used and loved! But everyone is different!

We got cookies from Sugar Chic from my friend's wedding over the summer and they were so delicious and the best favor I've gotten soooo we are doing cookies from Sugar Chic with a donation.

Our favors will most likely be girl scout cookies. That way its like a donation and edible favor in one.
The edible favors were always the best that I received and tend to remember. Honestly the only non edible favor I believe I received that I still have is a wine bottle stopper. The others were items I would not use and gave them away to someone who might use it.

wow, then you've been to some good weddings I've gotten SO many shot glasses thats its ridiculous. And I definitely think edible goodies are an exception to my above post! LOVE anything I can eat/drink!

Best favors... I always like the edible treats... I've got a sweet tooth, what can I say?!? :-P
As for our own, we're giving jars of pasta sauce from a very special restaurant here in NYC - Patsy's. Along with the sauce, we're giving wooden spoons that are engraved with our names and the date of our wedding.
* And we had no problem ordering extras... figured whatever leftover jars we have will be used by us!!!
