What is your interpretation of 'Video Re-Do??' (repost from LIF)
Ok so I got my wedding video months ago... and hated it..
so I emailed the company and told them and they said they would do it over... I told them that I didn't like the highlight chapter and the getting ready chapter and I wanted it DONE OVER. Which to me, would mean going back to the raw footage and putting in DIFFERENT things. I told them I wanted them include more stuff (not sure of the exact details because I have the email at work) and I also told them that the sound was off by 2 seconds so everyone's mouths were moving out of sync. To me, that's not professional.
So today it comes in the mail.. I watch it.. It's the same EXACT video, just with the sound the right way. Should I be pissed?? I mean really... why am I telling them to DO IT OVER, if all they did was fix the sound? Plus, the DVD they sent was all messed up (kept skipping, etc.). I want to email them AGAIN, but I don't even know what to say!

I would definitely let them know that you are still unhappy. We all pay way to much money for wedding services.... they need to cater to you and make sure that you are satisfied.
If it's the company in your profile, they seem to value customer service (at least from my experience) so it can't hurt to reach back out to them.
Good Luck and it s***ks that you've been having so much trouble with your photographer / videographer.

I emailed them today asking for the raw footage. I'll just have DH's friend make a video for us. I give up!

Would it be evil to say I talked to so many brides on LIW and they rave about the customer service at Duet., but I am frankly disappointed so far...
They should know what a powerful force LIW is, and maybe that will spark them a little to try to be more accommodating?
Good luck!

One thing about the dvd skipping...our wedding dvd also skips not really skips but studders for a sec or so. But it isnt the dvd but our dvd player cause it works fine at my mom's house. I believe it is because our dvd player is a littld old and some dvd like bootleg dvd dont run on it. But other than that a re-do is a re-do and it should have been done over. That stinks!

I would let them know. maybe you should go down to the company and sit down face to face and tell them exactly what you want. I would tell them that their product was unsatisfactory and the second product was worse.
Hope everything works out

I would... but I now live in Florida so I can't just get in my car and go there I am still annoyed and plan on finding my old emails to them to further clarify what it was I wanted done.
