My BM's dresses are light blue and black, so the ushers will be in those colors, the invitations, placecards, napkins, matches, programs etc.
I'm also going to have sailboats popping up here and there.

beachy theme.... beach wedding-ceremony on the sand std's are a magnet with a picture of the sand and surf, and in the sand is written love, and there is a starfish in the picture favors are silver plated dolphin bottle openers that's all that's set in stone....we haven't starting looking for invitations yet, but we'll continue the theme thru on invites, placecards, centerpieces, wedding cake....

vineyard/tuscan/vintage
subtle touches of vintage throughout - mantilla veil, vintage vases and candlestick holders on table, vintage embroidered hankercheifs as part of BM gift...
Vineyard stuff is really Wine stuff - using corks to hold little signs, great quotes throughout the reception like
'God in his goodness sent the grapes to cheer both great and small. Little fools will drink too much, and great fools not at all.'

we are doing a fall theme. all fall colors, red, yellow, orange, brown, gold. i want to get invitations with leaves on them. our favors are maple leaf shaped bottles of maple syrup

Christmas theme Im making the invites so I am not sure what exactly I am going to do yet.. Favors will be in christmas present boxes (the ones that are pre wrapped) I think those will be piled up on the table either around a red and white candle or as the centerpiece itself. Girls will be wearing Red dress with white muffs and the cake will look like presents white gifts with a red ribbon/bow as the cake topper.

I don't know if it's a theme, but there will be a lot of pink and roses involved. Plus, we love monograms and will probably incorporate that into our programs, menus, caketopper, etc.

Well, as you can probably guess from my name, our theme is nautical! We are using a nautical compass as our main motif - it will be on invitations, ceremony programs and menu cards. I am having a friend make origami paper sailboats that we are going to use as seating cards. Our favors are deck prisms - they were used historically on old sailboats to reflect light to the lower decks. Our wedding color is navy but flowers will feature light blues, greens and purples.
And my FH will be in uniform - he is a commissioned officer with NOAA.
I dont know if it is a theme, but we are incorporating sunflowers into a lot of the wedding.

I don't know if I had a theme persay, but we did stick with similar accents. Everything (invitations, programs, petal cones, cry packs, BM dresses & bo-k, my dress & bo-k, favors, unity candle) were either ivory or burgundy with silver trim. The flowers for the chuppa and CP were all fall colored (black magic roses and orange and yellow gerber daisies). Since we got married on the beach I was originally going to go with that as the theme, but since it was in October I didn't think the beach thing would be appropriate.

Im trying to keep everything very antiwue looking.. My ring and ring both have tha anitique look to them and Im doing candelabra centerpeices. The reception room is all creams and gold so it fits in well.
I havent really thought of a favor that would fir yet.. so any ideas of other decorations or favors would be appreicted!!!

We had a couple of themes running throughout our wedding. Both my DH and I are actors so our RD invites were theatre tickets, our programs were designed like playbills and our tables were named after shows that we have been in since meeting. We also did a black and white theme. Our BP wore B&W, our cake was B&W and we had B&W cookies as favors.

not so sure if it's a 'theme,' but our colors will be like an indian summer since our wedding date is between summer and fall... lots of plum, raspberry, and lime green accents.

we did a winter wonderland theme. my girls has white faux fur shawls and purple velvet dresses. i had a white velvet coat with fur trim made and my flower girl wore a white faux fur cape. my ring pillow has snowflakes and so did my guest box and unity candle. i had white and silver snowflake invitations and also had them on my church programs . my center pieces were white silver and irredescent st nick mikasa statues standing in a long arrangement of white flowers and white and silver birch branches. there were white birch pts with twinkling lights all over the reception room and the ceiling was draped with tulle and twinkling lights as well. just to name some of the things i did .

fall/perfect pear Our invites had leaves on them, all of our flowers centerpieces, cake were fall colors orange, yellow, red, brown. We gave a 'perfect pear' candle as our favor.
I'm doing a 'perfect pair' theme too!! And I will have 'perfect pair' candles as favors too!

We're getting married at the Vineyards, so it's a vineyard theme. We're also getting married in October so, it's fall colors and flowers. We're having wine bottle favors(made right from the vineyard, with a cork seal) I'm going to have a wine stopper with grapes on it, and probably grapes on my invitations. elegant, not colored grapes or anything. Probably all white invites. I'm also tentatively having place cards in a little fall themed picture frame. (3X5)
