I'm almost embarrassed to say what I do because most of the jobs posted here sound like such fun...
I work in construction claims for one of the largest insurance companies in the world...ooohhh what fun!

Wow, what a diverse group of people we have here. I'm an auditor for a public accounting firm (E&Y). I see public accoutning isn;t very popular here, or is it we have no time? lol. Is that right, D & J and Krwm? By the way, what's an account coor, D&J? I would love to be a cosmetic chemist, or a food taster for zagat. Any openings in zagat?

I was in HR on the 8th floor, but I just recently switched job positions & now i'm in the FSO Sales& Marketing Group. I coordinate sales activity for 3-4 accounts dealing w/ the business development process, sales and revenue reporting, account planning activities, project management, and the ownership of team accounts .. that sorta stuff..
What floor & building are you in??
PS: That food taster for Zagats is right up my alley too.. Does that job come w/ a free membership to a gym?? cause I would eat myself to death.. but it does sound yummy!

I have 2 jobs. I work at an ad agency and in sports on the weekend for a network.
The other ad agency girls- which agency are you with?
Edited to add-the Zagat's food tasting has to be the best job!!!! I too would need a membership to a gym, or my hips wouldn't make it through the front door after 5 tastings!

Actually - I am sad to report instead of a Holiday bonus - Where I work gave all the employees a 60-day termination letter...

Try looking up the website www.nytimes.com go to job search type in long island and what skills you have/job title you want... I was looking through it the other day, there were alot of banks looking for tellers... i wish i could help but i am a teacher w/dual certif. in elem. and special ed AND a Masters in edu. technology (computers) and i havent found anything yet this sucks when you have to pay for a wedding and go house hunting...

Fifth grade Intervention teacher. I just got my Master's degree last Wednesday in Special Education and I am starting the hunt for a better job where I will actually make some money. So if anyone hears about any openings please let me know. Thanks!!
I also work part time at Nassau Community College as a test administrator.
Oh and I am a full-time wedding planner for my wedding.

I just finished my Masters degree at George Washington University
I am currently unemployed. I was one of the people that took Verizon's buy out package last month. I am enjoying my time off and will hit the pavement for a new position in the new year.
