What is your take...
So, I was very interested in this one photographer/videographer (I will leave out the name and details to protect them because I definitely still like them!). They offered a package online for a specific price and they listed the specifics included in each package. Last month I emailed them saying I was extremely interested in that one package, I live upstate when should I plan to make a trip to meet you? The woman was polite and replied promptly and told me she was taking appointments for February. So, I made plans to visit the island for Presidents day weekend and finalized the plans with her. As the date is getting closer, I got excited and visited the website tonight to see that the package is significantly different! The photography basically stayed the same but it went from two videographers to one, an hour edited video to 1/2 hour, and no longer includes raw footage on a flashdrive. I am very upset because I thought I did extensive research and found myself a great deal. I am sure it is just their upgraded prices for 2013, but I did contact her and specifically say what I was interested in before the changes.Should I bring this up at our meeting? Do you think I would be able to negotiate with them? Do you think she told me to wait until February because she knew the prices would be higher? Should I be angry or am I just entering Bridezilla mode?? I still love their work and feel its still a decent price, but with their current prices, it would be $1000 more for what I thought I was already signing up for...ugh.

I woud mention it, it can't hurt! And always lie a little bit and say other companies offered you something or for less to try and get them to match it.

Did you print it out? Also, you have nothing to lose so definitely bring up the quote you saw.

If you have the convo in email with references to the package and pricing you should definitely mention it and see what they do for youI don't think it was done on purpose but they should definitely respect the previous convversation in some way

I would call them & mention it and see what they say before you make the trip here. I was turned off by a particular vendor and couldn't get passed it & it changed how I felt about them and was no longer interested. I cant totally understand how it turned you off!

If you have your e-mails saved, I would print them out and show them that you're interest in them was purely based on the package deal you saw online when you first inquired. Tell them that this is the package you're looking for and that the price they're asking for it now is out of your budget. Mention that you called to try and get an immediate appointment as they can see in the e-mails, and that they weren't able to meet right away, so you missed out. I know that it will be a lot for you to take a trip down here, but I do personally find that doing things like this face-to-face is your best bet. Hopefully they will be able to work with you! Good luck!

I would definitely print it out or at least mention it. Did it have a 'book by a certain day' deal? You really have nothing to lose if you just ask! Even if she brings the price down a little it might help.

I'd def mention it! Worst case she won't budge and best case you'll get the package you wanted! My photographer did tell us his prices go up every year so maybe with the new year they changed the prices!

Definitely bring any hard copies of what you have! When you talk to different people you want to refer back to the original deal that was offered! Good luck

Thanks everyone, I just needed your help to grow a backbone! I will be printing out the emails and bringing my FH and Maid of Honor to help me out. I really am not looking to argue with them, I just want to have that first price.
