seeing eachother on your wedding day... before the ceremony?
we are thinking of doing it so we can get our pictures out of the way before the ceremony so we can enjoy the cocktail hour

doing the photo all of them prior to the ceremony so we are more relaxed and we can enjoy the cocktail and reception.

Originally, I was totally against seeing each other before the ceremony but now I am beginning to see that there are benefits. It is something we'll have to discuss.

I was completely against it too, until i realized we wouldnt have any nice outdoor shots. FH was soo happy when I changed my mind cause he really wants to eat at the cocktail hour... I told him that still probably wont happen but at least well be able to say hi to our guests and steal 10 minutes alone together in the bridal suite.

i felt the same way, but there are so many benefits to doing pics before the ceremony starts. i think the day will run more smoothly and will be less stressful. plus we can enjoy the CH. i think its personal preference - but i dont think there is anything wrong with seeing eachother before the ceremony - the moment will still be special because he will still be seeing his FW for the first time and i think that it will be more intimate that way.....i think either way is beautiful :)

ever since i was an embryo i have pictured that moment when the doors open and FH will see me at the end of the aisle for the first time! i can't wait!!!!

My ceremony is at 1 and my reception at 6, so theres no need for me, and I'm glad! I dont want to see before!

we did it and it was the best decision EVER!!!!! we both loved every moment of seeing each other before the ceremony. It was emotional in a different way...........at the beginning, I was dead set against it, but I am so glad we did it.........I can't explain the feeling of emotions that go through you during that time .......

We are having our ceremony at the RH so the only time for pics would be during CH if we didn't see each other first, so really if I want to go to CH, I have to see FH before the ceremony.

we are seeing one another before hand, i never wanted to do it this way but the more i thought about it the easier and less stressful the day will be. we`ll get all our pics done in the am and mid afternoon so that after the ceremony we can enjoy our cocktail hour rather then rush thru pics!

Same here. Most photographers set up for the shot, they tell you okay he's coming.... so they are ready and capture the two of you seeing each other for the first time.
i love that.. we're using tom paul and have the 2 photographers.. i wonder if they can get a shot of both of us at the same time when we first see eachother

We're not and i dont want to see him beforehand and he also doesnt want to see me before...But we also have a 4-5 hour gap after our ceremony so it works out

I saw him in his tux before the ceremony because we got ready in the same place but he left for the church before I put my dress on, so he only saw my hair and makeup done.. he didn't see me in my dress until the doors opened.

i want the 1st time we see each other to be when i walk down the aisle.. so i dont think we will do our pics before the ceremony.. our ceremony is 3pm and the reception is 6pm.. so im hoping we have enough time for pics in between.
