What it feels like 16 days before your wedding..

1. You cant concentrate on anything non-wedding related. Work? Yeah right. The last thing on my mind is anything related to my job..

2. Ideas of any additional DIY projects go out the door. I have no time nor the energy or patience to deal or even attempt any special projects.
3. You check your bank account everyday & shed a tear as you watch your account slip into the hole of emptiness

4. Anyone who hasn’t rsvp’d by now… F’em! They don’t care to respond, I don’t care to have them there.

5. You watch every little piece of food you eat & analyze it. You pray that you will be able to fit into your dress come your 2nd fitting.

6. You can care less about color coordination anymore. The fact that my invites do not match my color scheme or my napkins don’t match my chair covers is not a thought in my head!

7. If I look at another bridal magazine… I will barf.

8. Any wedding e-mail advertisements I receive in my in-box IMMEDIATELY gets deleted. In fact.. I scroll all the way to the bottom & press “UNSUBSCRIBE”

9. You spend more time than you want to thinking about how much you should tip the vendors.

10. Any sappy songs will bring a tear to your eye… You’re an emotional mess. You will cry at the drop of a dime.

11. You spend HOURS thinking about every little detail, hoping you didn’t forget ANYTHING and go over your to-do list 100 times over & over. AND.. everytime you do go over the list, you realize that there is something else that needs to be done.

12. You feel bad for brides that just got engaged.. they have to go through this whole planning process. You cant even fathom the thought of doing this all over again.

13. Your honeymoon is looking sweeter & sweeter each day. In fact. You wou would trade in your wedding day just to be on your honeymoon.

14. The mere though of doing place-settings will drive you to drink.

15. Your in-laws will always have that one person that they “forgot to tell you to invite”

16. Your in love even more than ever!!! the only one that keeps you sane is your FH

You are lucky about #16. I have FH saying well, let's just make placecards for the people who haven't responded yet just in case they show up....I'm sure the hall can just add more settings at the tables.

Yes this is what happens around the 1 month or less mark.....you get to the 'I don't give a rats azz what happens anymore' stage and just want it to be all done and over with.

Do not stress, everything is in the hands of professionals here on out, and your only job is to enjoy this time!!! The day goes by so fast, that you will wish you could do just the wedding day over again!!!

Another thing to add to the list...

If someone asks you to do anything...especially non-wedding related...you look at them like they have 15 heads and get all overwhelmed

you ask yourself more then once per day why you didn't elope...usually while looking at that ever disappearing bank account...or dealing w/ a pain in the a$$$ IL

you stop caring who's friends w/ who because that damn table is full and they will just have to deal w/ sitting w/ your aunt Tilly

I totally agree and laughed out loud reading this. I have 24 days left and i'm going insane!!
My to-do list seems to be growing rather than shrinking.

I am right there with you....I am very over this wedding planning....bring on normal life again! But we are almost there. sending hugs

I had melt-downs 2 weeks before the wedding! I was PMSing & go nuts

The week of I was much more put together & relaxed. Just prioritize & if you don't get to all the DIY - you will be the only one who knows it is missing. Good luck & get a massage the day before...I did & it helped wonders!

That is a very cute list, but I love the way it ended because you know what, that is why we are all doing this, because we love our FH's and can't wait to spend the rest of our life with them!

I hear ya sister! I like the last one too. My DH was the only one who was able to calm me down and keep me sane!
