Just trying to figure out if my brother will like the Blonde Ale that you get with that personalized beer. He really only likes Coronas. (I'm SO not a beer person, so I have NO clue!)

I dont' think Corona is considered to be a blond ale...not that I have any idea what it is considered to be though. For some reason, and i could be wrong, but I feel like blonde ales are lighter in color and a little sweeter in taste.
I love Corona! FH and I drink it all the time. I just asked him what kind it was and he looked at me with a funny face, paused, then said, 'BEER'

DUH...it's a cerveza.
he's a guy and he likes corona. chances are good he'll like anything. haha...i hate corona and am very picky about beers. i've found those who 'love' corona will drink anything.

my FH is very picky about his beers-- he will not drink anything besides: heineken, guiness, sam adams, yuengling and other 'high end' beers like that... he is such a fruit! he will not even touch a bud light or coors light-- he's like 'ugh, urine water' lol!! he is such a snob!
so idk-- i know he will occasionally drink corona-- that he does not turn his nose up at but i would be worried, if it were me, buying anything for him besides what i know for sure he likes. hmm-- sorry, i can't help much.
i'm the same as you-- i know nothing about beer!

I called my FH at work to ask him this question... he stated that Corona (and other Mexican beer) are not classified like other beer, they are just beer, that is just his opinion based on years of drinking Mexican cervezas. I don't know anything about beer, ask me about Margaritas

I love beer (fav. are Guinness, Barley Wine's from various breweries, botts, Ommegang Belgion Beer) But I HATE that ******* of a beer corona. I refuse to drink any light beers except for Amstel (that is even pushing it).
So what I can figure it would be under a lager name. So I looked it up on beer advocate and it is classified American Macro Lager. There are various Corona's but i figured to base it off of corona extra.

Anything that has 'blonde' in the title might be a wheat beer.... Im a big beer person and cant STAND wheat beers, they have a very different taste then other beers and I think its gross.
