What kind of deposit did you leave your florist?

Was it more than half of what you plan on spending?? I'm meeting with one soon and want to be certain about how much they might want. Although I'm sure it's different for every vendor.

I was only required to leave $200, but I gave her $500 to get most of it out of the way.

We gave him 50% (I think around $7000 for $15000 bill).

I left no deposit.

My flowers were connected through my photo/video.. one deposits took care of all.

my florist asked for 1/3 of the bill. some florist will ask for more or less but i am pretty sure they would work with you especially once they see you are serious and willing to draw up a contract.

we didn't have to leave anything (also a family friend) We paid cash in full ($813) 10 days before the wedding.
