the canister would always bang into ME!!! we had one when i was growing up and did all the vacuuming. i like uprights much better!

I think that is the one that my husband wanted to get. We hate our current vaccuum and the other one is really old. I think we will probably be getting it soon. Thanks.

I have the Oreck set. It has an upright and then an over the shoulder mini canister for corners, stairs and other hard to reach places. I love it!

Your cats let you vacuum them!! I've never heard of that before...not that I haven't though about doing it though!

Tammy - I was thinking about the floor mate - I hate vacuuming and mopping the floors. Do you like it? I've got pergo - do you know if it's good on that and if it'll make it streak?
