Hey girls! I know LIW has given us a whole new world of ideas to incorporate into our big day! Unfortunately, I dont know about you g uys, but I really can't afford to do everything I originally wanted to its ok tho. SO after much thinking I am probley doing the following:
-Making my table numbers with my engagement pics and placing them in frames for each table
-T E S S A is making my place cards which are going to look like my invites, same color scheme and pattern
-Making my programs
-Debating the signature/picture board (leaning towards a no on t his)
-Napkins with our names on it :)

one of the things we did was buy card stock from michaels that is all the same style. other than that, we are doing a lot of 'little things' b/c ita it gets pretty expensive. i think our biggest thing is making sure we are doing things 'our way' with the CPs and stuff like that.

We're going to have a cigar roller so we're going to get personalized matches
Also doing engagement pic table numbers
Thinking of making chocolates and putting them in cute little boxes on each place setting
We're purchasing inexpensive invites probably from target so that we can afford to have a percussionist instead
I also forgot about the personalized matchbooks, and napkins. I also wanted to do a slipper/flipflop basket.

We're also doing a lot of DIY stuff! :o) -making the invites, programs. -table numbers are going to be sketched/watercolor paintings by me -OOT bags at the hotel with homemade cookies - escort cards...i'm making them, i just don't know what i'm making yet -brewing our own beer to give as favors (with DIY labels) -and my biggest project: making a free staning stained glass window to get married in front of - we're getting married at the beach, and i want to make it have a unique, church-like feel!
..oh god i gotta get to WORK!

My favorite little detail is instead of using regular escort cards I'm making bookmarks for everyone with their names in front, a love quote on the back from a favorite author and their table number with the tassel at the end of it. We're big readers and scrabble people so it made sense for us.

I had my menus made of chocolate and placed at every other setting at the reception.
We also had an Irish station at the cocktail hour since my DH is Irish. We had bangers and mash, and guinness beer.
