the 1st official movie date that we had was Just Friends and the main song in it 'I swear' and I kept singing the song over and over and he joke that when we get married we where going to dance that song, I ask him to promise me he did (w/ pinkie swear and everything :P) and now we are planning a wedding and we have to dance that song....

Ours is just our song. We have a lot, actually, but Phish is my FH's fave band, and one of their songs is about how the singer doesn't want to do anything but waste his time with the girl ... it's more beatiful than it sounds ... :) The music is amazing. So -- being that it's his fave band and from the minute he met me he said it was our song -- and the fact that I am getting a lot of what I want for the wedding - this is our song. I would have picked 'At Last' by etta james, but we'll do something special for that one too.

FH and I are huge old school r&b and NY hip hop fans so we decided to do a mix of an old song that was redone as a hip hop song. We think it will help get the crowd going once the beat drops for the hip hop part.

our song was called 'promise' from the epcot illuminations cd. we're the biggest epcot fans, got engaged there. when we lived there, we would go to epcot just to watch that firework show and it's a 'wedding' song and is just beautiful and it just made sense. during dinner, we played the whole illuminations cd which is just the music for the firework show. it was awesome. i'm leaving in a few hours to go on our honeymoon to disney and now when our wedding song comes on, it'll be super special for us

we don't have 'a song' so it took us a while to decide but FH picked a few and then we decided.

The words are perfect, my mom fell in love with it and after listening to it over and over it became our song.

We both liked the song and once we sat and listened to the words we knew it was perfect. Dh and I can both look at each other and know what the other is saying, so it was perfect
