I just fell in love with it the first time I heard it~ I wasn't even engaged yet, and I told FH and my parents that I will be dancing to this at my wedding haha I just loved it!!!!!!!!!!

i've been a bon jovi fan since i was about 5 .. so i always knew i wanted one of their songs to be my wedding song. FH just happens to be a fan too ...he's more into springsteen (we love the jersey rocker..lol) .. and although i LOVE bruce too ..we felt like the 'thank you for loving me' by bon jovi would be perfect!! The lyrics are beautiful and the song always makes me teary eyed :-d

It was the first slow song FH and I ever danced to and everytime we hear, he makes a point of dancing with me, no matter where we are. We even danced once in the middle on Bloomingdales because the pianist there was playing it.

The words.... they are just amazing... they really capture our love for one another... I had known the song before FH..... I had him listen to it one night... I didn't even have to ask him what he thought bc he had tears in his eyes...

Our first dance song was All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera. It was the first broadway show that we saw together. We actually danced to the movie version of the song.

FH picked it - he didn't want one of those typical ballad type songs so he picked something a little different.
He picked it so long ago though that it has become more popular so he is sad that he isn't as original as he thought.
I dont care - I love the song and the words. I especially love how FH sings it to me in my ear.

We picked our first dance song 6 years ago... when we first started dating!!!! It is a perfect song for us, it has so much meaning, especially since it has been apart of our lives from the very beginning.... I am going to be an emotional mess when we have our first dance!

We chose 'At Last' by Etta James as our first dance song.
It is quite fitting for us, because this is the first marriage for both of us, and I am 41 and he is 45.

I heard it in the car on the way to a wedding. It just made me think of my boyfriend (at the time) now fh. It brought tears to my eyes..the lyrics are just perfect.
