i just have to add - that whole idea of MAKING money off of the wedding drives me BONKERS!
first of all - even if people TRY to cover their plate, unless they have planned a wedding in the last 5 years - they have NO idea what a plate actually costs. . . not saying that they have to cover anything, but even if they want to they are usually about $100 short!
second i think this myth came around when the bride's parents paid for everything - yeah if my parents paid for the entire wedding and then YEAH i would be making a fortune off of it DUH!!! lol
