my bm dress inspired our colors - we stumbled upon this one dress that I absolutely loved, and it happens to be red....+ I remember seeing red bm's dresses in pictures and I loved the contrast of the white, black and red.

I have always loved the color purple and all shades associated with it.

Burgandy is my favorite color, so I am sort of just going with that. I am concerned however that it will look too much like I tried to match the room, since the Country Gardens are burgandy and green. Problem is I haven't really liked any other color that would be appropriate for the fall.

I changed my mind constantly. First I said red. Then I said yellow because of a pic I saw (posted below)

Then I was going to shoot for a black and white wedding (which my family HATED the idea) until I saw this bouquet and KNEW I had to have red. (Which ironically was my first choice right after we got engaged!!)

Here's the kicker....when we got engaged and I first said red is the color, I told him I was keeping the family tradition...both of my brothers weddings, I wore a red BM dress!!!

1st pic is what made me think yellow with daisies.

2nd pic is what inspired me to do red, which is what I'm sticking with!!

The last 2 is just more confirmation!!

I guess you can say i just always knew it would be a light color for summer, i love pink and the real inspiration was my hall room which may sound odd...the estate is a little dark , i really love the room and i pulled the pink from the carpets and will do light green ...must sound crazy but its true

Being a fan of pink, I knew that would be in my colors somehow. After I found the BM dress by Bill Levkoff, and it had pink, lavendar and lt. green pinstripes.. the rest fell into place. I even found my bok right out of a mag... so simple! Done!
Plus, we are having a 'golf-y' theme, so pink and green together are very pretty and preppy looking!
